CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Buckeye Funding, a small, new pre-settlement lawsuit funding company based in Cleveland, Ohio.
The client describes their service as follows:
Buckeye Funding offers cash advances for injured plaintiffs. If you have been seriously injured and are represented by an attorney, you may be eligible to receive an advance on your pending personal injury case through our pre-settlement funding program. Buckeye Funding will help alleviate your immediate financial pressures with funding and give you the financial stability you need to obtain the highest possible recovery. Buckeye Funding will provide a cash advance in return for a promise to repay the advance after the lawsuit settles or a victory in court. There are no credit checks and you do not have to be employed to be considered for settlement funding. Most importantly, our settlement funding program is 100% risk free. If your case is lost, the advance is yours to keep free of charge! We typically only take 24 hours to review your case and once you are approved for settlement funding, we can have an advance in your hands the very same day.
The client's web address is www.buckeyefunding.com - there you can see the beta version of their website. They may ultimately like to have whoever designs their logo integrate the look and feel from the logo into their website.
If you do a google search for â€"legal settlement funding†you will find a list of websites from various other companies in the client's industry. This should give you some ideas as to what they are looking for.
The design will be used primarily for their website, business cards, letterhead, possibly print advertising and/or direct mailings. The client would like to ultimately use the logo/color scheme to integrate and redesign their website.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $250*.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words Buckeye Funding or alternatively Buckeye Legal Funding. This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
- The logo can contain any colors. Scarlet and Grey are Ohio State’s colors, but they are certainly not necessary, as the client would like to consider multiple options.
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The logo style must be modern, but also one that speaks of professionalism.
- Your logo should represent trust, stability, the law, money and the client's ability to assist people in need of pre-settlement funding.
- The client is open to any symbol, but things that relate to the law, money, or (to a much lesser extent) the state of Ohio are all potentially positive. Although the client is Buckeye Funding and in Ohio, they are not sure if they want their logo to be particularly Ohio focused or something that has more of a national appeal, so you are welcome to go in either direction.
- Any font can be used as long as it is supplied in the final output (Mac/PC). Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The logo files should ideally be in vector format (.ai or .eps), but Photoshop files are OK too.
- Before entering this contest you must read this thread.
GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry (you can upload multiple image files as part of the same entry).
- Fancy background presentation is allowed in the ancillary presentation examples, but not in the MAIN image file. The main image file must have a solid color background.
- Please leave some blank space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to avi[a]worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
